Being creative is a blessing and a curse. I mostly find it a curse because my mind is constantly being inspired and inventing new ideas that I just don’t have the time to pursue. One minuet all I can think about is a new knitting project, the next day I’m obsessed with finding the perfect quilt fabric. Then suddenly ill want to spend all my time creating abstract paintings only to suddenly be overwhelmed with the urge to create random illustrations that may or may not ever become completed artworks.
It’s frustrating.
I would like to be able to focus on just one thing at a time but I can’t. My brain goes in five different directions and I don’t have the time to complete anything.
These sketches I’m hoping to convert into paintings that combine both abstract elements and realistic figures. But first I need to work on more samples and tutorials for the online abstract workshop I had planned on having finished before Christmas.
There are still several paintings for sale at half price in my etsy shop, please buy them so I can make room to create more lol.
In the mean time I’m going to keep sketching and jotting down ideas until I can find time to create them. While attempting to plough through some more of my to do list.
