I brought the littlest boy his first undies today. For a while now he has been interested in sitting on the toilet and telling me when he had done poos, so I figured now was as good a time as any. Coming into warmer weather makes it easier as well because he can just wander around all day at home in undies.

After being very excited at the shops of course we then got home and he wasn’t interested in putting them on. But I eventually got him into a pair and proceeded to spend the next hour asking him if he needed to wee.

He kept saying no, then of course he disappeared into his room and came out wet. So I took him to the toilet and plonked him on explaining what went wrong.

A new pair of undies were put on and we headed outside.

We managed to get one wee on the grass while outside but then had to change into a nappy to get the kids from school. So not a hugely successful day but it’s a start.

Here’s too hopefully a nappy free house in a few weeks time. Hurrah.
