I saw this idea on pinterest ages ago and thought to myself “that’s a great idea, wonder if it really works”.

Well it does!

Next time you buy spring onions at the shops (the ones that still have their roots attached) instead if throwing that part in the bin once you chop them up, pop it in some soil and it will regrow. These have only been in here for a week and they have already started sprouting new heads.
