Forgotten Photos

I found these photos that i took about three weeks ago in Lightroom, i had them on my camera and uploaded them with the photos i took at the tulip festival but forgot about them until now.

I love this boy. Of course i love all my children, that goes without saying, but this little guy just has be wrapped around his pudgy little finger. I find myself just staring at him several times a day, watching him with all his cuteness just going about life. He is so adorable, not just in looks but in personality. I challenge you to meet him in person and not be totally swept off your feet by his personality alone….grubby face and all.

He still doesn’t talk much, according to the little blue child development book he should be saying 50+ words clearly and reguarly. All we get is “mummy”, “more”, “no”, “ahh- ee” (charlee), “ah-oool” (apple), “mam mar” (grandma/granpa – depending on who he is talking to), “nanna” and “ee ee” which i think is his attempt at Trigger. That’s it, which is why i took him to have a hearing test the other month. The results came back showing that he did have a mild loss in the right ear with low register noise but his ears were also blocked up with wax at the time…so he needs to go back. Either way it wasn’t significant enough to cause a delay so we just have to wait and see now.

Of course that being said he does occasionally randomly come out with words once and then never again, for example in the car this morning he had a toy with him that wasn’t working, koby turned around and told him it needed a new battery, and Noah then randomly came out with the word “bat-ee”.  Of course when asked to repeat it he wouldn’t and probably never will again.

Of course he gets very frustrated when he cant get his message to, and although i try to discourage it and try to get him to try the words instead, he has started to sign with his hands things he wants. For drink he touches his lips and says “ooh”. When he wants to put his boots on he will point to his feet and stomp etc. Which just adds to his cuteness but of course i always repeat what he has asked for with words and i make sure i show him the right way to ask for a drink etc.

Its strange for me to deal with a slow talker because both koby and charlee were babbling away really clearly by now, koby especally. He didn’t shut up from the time he was two, but i guess its just a third child thing and he will get there in his own time. He is generally such a happy little chap that can play by himself for ages. Especially if aloud outside, with his sidekick Trigger to watch over everything he does of course ( i know this shot is out of focus but it’s so typically them…Noah busy doing something, trigger tight next to him sticking his nose in the way.).

He loves cuddles, anytime i get a few spare moments to sit on the couch and put my feet up he is right there next to me, or on me, or behind me… If Charlee or Koby try and sit next to me he shoves them out of the way, thankfully they are quite good humored about it generally (he has them wrapped around said pudgy finger as well and as a result gets away with everything). He is obsessed with car’s (which reminds me he can also say car but it’s more like “arr” as he can’t make the C sound yet) and they are scattered through the house constantly. He loves to dance (his favourite song – thanks to Koby- is LMFAO’s “i’m sexy and i know it”…he has the “wiggle” move down to a fine art…funniest thing ever and i’ve been trying to catch it on video for a while now).

He is a good eater and is not fussy at all. He will have a crack at anything i put in front of him. But his favourite things to eat are mostly fruit, grapes, strawberry, mandarin, apples, oranges…any fruit actually.

So that’s my littlest boy, age 2.7 years. I want to keep him like this forever.
