Thank you to everyone who has given feedback on my idea via Facebook, instagram, blog comments and email. I really appreciate it and the general consensus is that it’s a great idea.
I have decided that to start with I will work on putting together an online workshop first. Once that is all set up I can branch out using the same lessons and material and hold an in person workshop for locals. The online option means you can work at your own pace, it is accessible to those of you who are too far away (or just too busy) to come in person and it’s something that I can add too as new ideas and technique requests come in.
I have a lot of work ahead of me. I want this to be good, not just slapped together. If you’re going to do something, do it well. After ear bashing my poor man last night and discussing all my options I now realize that this will be a massive project that will probably take at least until Christmas before its ready.
I need to write out lessons, come up with samples and photograph step by step. I want to record several video tutorials of techniques that are difficult to describe with words and photos and I want to set up several other things to help the whole process be more successful. Now I just need to work out where to start ….
