Having lots of extra children staying over every weekend means we need lots of extra blankets. Thankfully bering a quilt lover that’s not a big problem but storing them all is. I don’t have a big linen cupboard. In fact it’s tiny. So I had been storing the quilts and extra blankets in a basket, which was practical but it isn’t the best way to show off all the pretty colors.
I had been eyeing this timber towel ladder off in Target for a while now but it was $60, now I’m not a total cheep skate but that seemed a little excessive for something you could knock together yourself for $15 at bunnings. So I never brought it, but today I was down there and they are currently having a home sale so I thought I’d see if they had reduced the price of it.
The sticker still said $59, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to scan it and see what price actually comes up. Sure enough it had been reduced to $41, still a lot but not as much as $60 so I decided to get it.
Now all my quilts and crochet blankets are up on display but they are still easy to access for when the kids are here on the weekends.
