I picked up this cute little foot stool from an op shop the other day for $8.
Although I thought it was quite cute on its own I decided to personalize it a bit and also make it a bit more cozy for those cold nights. I dragged out my rather dismal attempt at a granny square rug that I started ages ago.
I had given up on making this into a blanket ages ago, instead it was hanging around in the hope of one day becoming a cushion. But it happened to almost fit this perfectly so I quickly added two rows of white boarder and sewed it onto the stool.
I’m really happy with how it’s turned out and it’s quite comfy as well. Now of course I’m all inspired to attempt another granny quilt to match it but I think I will try and resist for now. I have way too many works-in-progress as it is.
