Well i am well and truly obsessed with this needle felting stuff. It’s an addictive little hobby that’s for sure. I have been making mice lately, trying to work out the best method I have their faces pretty much down to a fine art, and their bodies are not too bad but i am still struggling with limb construction. I just can’t seem to get the arms and legs to look right. I think i need to look up a few more tutorials. The problem is that it’s just so fiddly and small, and i can’t get the elt to compact tight enough to make the arms and legs thin enough. I’ve seen samples of the effect i want but can’t seem to replicate it.
Oh well, i shall persevere, in the mean time the house is being over run with rodents. If anyone wants to adopt one of these guys then just leave a comment and i’ll draw three names out of a hat and post them off to new homes while i work on cloning a few better versions to sell.

The little mice are adorable. I know there is a 7 year old in this house who would love to adopt one.

oh my, how adorable! My 6 year old would go CRAZY over them!!
Your mice are beautiful Clair! My mother in law collects special mice – well, she has 3 that I’ve given her over the last few years that sit on the dresser in her bedroom. I’d love to add one of your hand felted ones to her (mini) collection. xo
These are adorable Clair! I watched a tutorial that said that you should make one long snake then cut it into four pieces to try to keep all the limbs even sized. Have you tried that method? I know what you mean about how hard the small fiddly stuff is. Good luck working out the best way xx
Hi,
These mice are adorable.
I would love to own them.
