Our squishy, wrinkly little puppy is filling out and growing up. He is also, i believe, the most spoiled puppy in the history of puppies. He has already managed to secure his little spot on our bed despite both Trent and I being adamant that he would never sleep on the bed (or in the bed under the covers at our feet…oh no, that will never happen we said). He gets played with all day by Noah, he gets to trot around the garden with me while i garden and weed. He gets puppy treats every time he does something good and only rarely gets locked in the bathroom when he is naughty and needs time out. He gets the best food money can buy and has fresh meat as a special treat every other day….he honestly is a very spoiled little fur-baby.
He comes when you call him, sits when you tell him to…he is learning to “stay” as well but sometimes gets a little too excited especally if visitors are around. He also sometimes has very selected hearing especally if he is wandering around outside and trots outside of the front gate on the trail of some lovely smell. I will call him, he will look at me and then carry on sniffing and trotting away as if he hasn’t heard me. Cheeky bugger.
He is still very nippy and has very sharp puppy teeth, we are all covered in scratches from his over enthusiastic love bites (especially Noah). He chews e v e r y t h i n g in sight that is not nailed down (in fact i caught him chewing the skirting around the floor the other day so maybe i should include things that are nailed down as well). He doesn’t bark much which is good, but he does growl and whimper heaps. He is mostly a very good little pup though as long as he gets worn out enough each day, if he gets bored he gets into mischief (sounds like a certian two-year-old i know). He favourite way of being worn out is fetch. he is great at it and brings the ball back every time.
