My lovely generous friend Dannii made me this beautiful quilt for my birthday. She finished it off last night at craft group and handed it over to me. It is gorgeous and is a very welcome addition to my growing collection. Quilting is one of Dannii’s many talents and she does it beautifully, i can never get my lines and joins to match up anywhere near as perfectly as she does and i am SO happy to have something special hand made from her because she is one of my most treasured and closest friends.
I waited for a break in the showers today to take it outside to photograph it in all it’s glory.
The colours are perfectly “me” and i know i will have to fight Charlee for it when it comes to sitting on the couch to watch TV every night lol.
