I found some! Well technically my mum found them after I told her a few weeks back that I was looking for them everywhere. She found them at a cottage garden nursery in Wonthaggi while we were away in the weekend. Waaaay down the back hidden away. The lady running the nursery said they haven’t sold any in ages and was surprised that they asked, apparently they are old fashioned now lol. I always knew I should have been born 50 years ago.

Anyway I’ve planted them both in my garden along with some other new plants I picked up today at a local nursery that was having a sale. apparently hydrangeas are very easy to propagate but you need to do it when the weather is warmer for best results as they are dormant in winter. So in a few months I’ll take some cuttings and see if I can plant them and get them to grow.
My little garden is growing nicely now. The bulbs are already beginning to flower and lots of others are flowering as well. It’s all looking very pretty.
